Kantar Public APPOINTS NEW QUALITATIVE DIRECTOR
LONDON – May 9, 2011 – Leading social researchers Kantar Public is pleased to announce the appointment of Ben Toombs as Qualitative Director. Previously a director at specialist qualitative agency Cragg Ross Dawson, Ben has strong and varied background working in social research within the public sector.
Having led strategic, communications, behavioural insight and policy evaluation projects for various government departments including the Ministry of Justice, Home Office, Department for Transport and DCMS, Toombs is joining Kantar Public to further strengthen its qualitative offer and bring some of his specialist expertise to the forefront. Ben will report to Dr Darren Bhattachary, Executive Director.

Having consulted with various government stakeholders, as well as regularly debriefed public sector directors and government ministers on policy issues, Ben will be in a strong position to work with TNS-BMRB’s public sector clients and to challenge them to look at the best ways to get to the heart of social and political issues.”

Ben is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, an AMRS, and a member of the Social Research Association and the AQR.
