London – 14 October Kantar Public is pleased to announce the appointment of Hazel Wilkinson and Sally Panayiotou to senior leadership roles.

Hazel Wilkinson has joined Kantar Public as a Director in its Qualitative and Communications Team. In this role she will be responsible for leading some of TNS BMRB’s key client accounts and projects, including research and strategic consultancy for Public Health England.

Hazel joins Kantar Public from Corporate Culture, a marketing and communications consultancy with a specialist focus on transformational change, where she was Client Services Director. Prior to that, Hazel spent a number of years at Opinion Leader.

Also joining Kantar Public is Sally Panayiotou as Director in its Policy Research Team. Sally will work across a broad portfolio of policy research and evaluation studies.

Sally joins from Ipsos MORI, where she was a Research Director. She has a diverse quantitative and qualitative research background and has particular expertise in conducting research with children and young people. Sally was recently on secondment at the Cabinet Office Social Action Team, developing the team’s evaluation strategy and helping them make better use of commissioned research. Before focusing on social policy research, Sally spent the first seven years of her research career working in commercial research for a range of financial, retail, media, technology and publishing clients.

Her ability to deliver high impact work across a range of policy issues make her an ideal addition to what is a fantastically strong Policy team.”

Sally Panayiotou said, “There seems to be an increasing emphasis on creating a strong evidence base for what works in policy development. The dedicated Kantar Public qualitative team works on high-profile projects, pioneering the latest techniques and methods to meet the ever developing needs of UK policy makers. Its communications team work on some of the largest behaviour change and campaign evaluations in the UK.

The Kantar Public Policy research team is responsible for delivering some of the largest and most high-profile research studies in the UK, including major evaluations for the Department for Education, Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, and the Department for Work and Pensions.
