Commissioned by the Food Standards Agency (FSA) we conducted a nationwide series of ‘citizens forums’, with the goal of establishing an ongoing dialogue with the public on food standards. Now in its second year, this wave of forums sought to examine, shopping behaviour, attitudes to labelling, awareness and understanding of country of origin labelling, associated food safety issues and attitudes towards buying British and local produce of budget shoppers.
