This study of the general public examined their attitudes and behaviours in relation to the environment. The survey included several sets of attitude statements, as well as detailed factual questions on areas such as transport, water and energy efficiency, and reducing waste.

This report examines the attitudes and behaviours of the general public in England in relation to the environment. Specific areas examined are: travel and transport; energy and water efficiency in the home; reducing waste, reusing and recycling; purchasing behaviour; green spaces; animal welfare; and biodiversity. The report also includes findings on how much people feel they know about environmental issues, and their willingness to change their behaviour to be more environmentally friendly.
