Two senior hires for Kantar Public

London, 24th July, 2012 – Kantar Public has announced two senior hires to join its leading team of social researchers in its London office, following a period of strong growth.

Carli Lessof has joined as Director of Development, where she will focus strategically on continuing to build TNS BMRB’s portfolio of high profile research studies, as well as playing a leading role in on-going innovation in research methods. Carli joins from NatCen Social Research, where she was most recently Director of Innovation and Development, having previously built up their longitudinal survey team. She also brings her experience from working in research roles within Government and academia.

Desiree Lopez joins Kantar Public as Head of Qualitative Research where she will lead the team well known for its specialism in policy evaluation, public communications research and behaviour change, and public service improvement. Desiree brings 17 years of international experience working with policy makers, private and third sector clients on framing, delivering and assessing policy, in education and community development. Desiree joins from EdComs, where she led their communications and behaviour change research practice. Prior to that Desiree spent 5 years at the Institute of Education, leading research to inform policy and practice in the area of adult basic skills. Desiree replaces Darren Bhattachary who has recently moved into a global role for TNS.
