Tracking business conditions in real-time is essential to allowing Businesses, Governments and Organisations to position themselves to respond to the challenges and opportunities ahead.
The English Business Survey, is the first publicly available official survey, that delivers insight into current and future prospects of the local and national economy; allowing Government, businesses and other organisations to monitor and respond to changes in their sector or area. Set up in 2011 by the Department for Business Innovation and Skills, the survey tells us what managers think about the current and future prospects for output, employment and investment at their establishment.

- How close are our immediate forecasts to the less timely ONS data?
