Voting intentions poll shows CON 28% (-3), LAB 41% (0), LD 10% (+2), UKIP 11% (-1), OTHER 10% (+1)

Labour’s lead over the Conservatives currently stands at 13 points with Conservative support falling by three percentage points since the last Kantar Public poll.

The Liberal Democrats are back up to 10% which brings them to within one point of UKIP.

It should be noted that the results for the Conservatives is at the extreme end of what other polling companies have recorded over the last week and, as ever, it is important to not view individual polls in isolation. However, these findings do suggest that David Cameron’s recent announcements on the European Union have done the Conservatives no immediate good.

Notes to editors:
Kantar Public interviewed a representative sample of 1,199 people between 31st January and 4th February 2013.
All interviews were conducted as online self-completion. The data is weighted to match population totals for age, sex, social grade, working status, presence of children, 2010 voting patterns and region.
