Kantar Public Media Alert: Labour maintain a strong lead of 12 points in early September
Voting intentions poll shows CON 31% (nc), LAB 43% (+3), LD 10% (-1), OTHER 17% (-1)

Labour strengthened its lead over the Conservatives to 12 points in TNS BMRB’s first poll of September 2012 with a 3 point increase for Labour whilst the Conservative vote share remained static. Future polls will show if Cameron’s cabinet reshuffle has any significant impact on the party’s poor poll performance.
There was little change for the Liberal Democrats and other parties this week, both of whom dropped a point.

Kantar Public interviewed a representative sample of 1,182 people between 31st August and 3rd September, 2012.
All interviews were conducted as online self-completion. The data is weighted to match population totals for age, sex, social grade, working status, presence of children, 2010 voting patterns and region.
