London – 4 March – After the recent appointment of Desiree Lopez as CEO of Kantar Public, Mark Peters has been named as TNS BMRB’s new Managing Director.
Mark brings 20+ years’ experience of developing and managing research for a wide range of government clients. He has a long track record of directing large scale research, policy evaluations and longitudinal studies for central government and academia. This experience has ranged from small scale evaluations of local pilots to large scale national research programmes. He has managed large multi-disciplinary teams and a wide range of client relationships. Mark was previously Director of Research at Kantar Public and prior to that led the BMRB Education Policy Group.

Dr Sarah Cheesbrough takes over as Head of Policy for Kantar Public. In her new role, Sarah will lead Kantar Public’s wide portfolio of research to deliver evidence and insight for clients across Government and the public sector.
Sarah joined Kantar Public in 2013 with over 20 years’ experience of working in research for policy development and evaluation. Her career began at the Office for National Statistics and includes a former role as Director of Housing, Planning and Development Research at Ipsos MORI. As well as working agency side, Sarah has drawn on her experience in Whitehall research roles at the Cabinet Office, Department for Communities and Local Government and the National Audit Office to enhance our research for policy clients.
