Kantar Public was conducted to inform DEFRA’s development of policy and local strategies for the protection and improvement of services and to better understand the needs of older people. Caitlin Connors and Marita Kenrick from Kantar Public, and Martin Gorringe and Sam Rule from the International Longevity Centre, will jointly present on:

• The impact of an older population in rural areas on service demand and delivery
• Where and how the design and delivery of key services need to be tailored to meet present and future needs
• Underlying principles of good practice in designing and delivering key services to an older population
• How the research team overcame challenges to sampling, what the benefits are of iterative phases and of having a good dissemination strategy built into the design

The free seminar will be held at DEFRA on 20th May at 5.00pm. For more information and to register your place, please click here.
