Dr Darren Bhattachary – Head of Qualitative and International Research
Darren Bhattachary heads up our qualitative and international research at TNS-BMRB. He is an expert in deliberative research, and has current research interests in ethnography, action research and behaviour change. Darren has led major research projects with clients including the Cabinet Office, Ministry of Justice, Department of Health, Central Office of Information, Department for Work and Pensions, Department for the Environment, Department for Education, a host of major regulators, science funding organisations, as well as work for the European Commission. Darren joined us from a senior management role at the Royal Society, the UK’s national academy of science. He has previously worked in consultancies in academia and the private sector, specialising in deliberative research and organisational development. He holds a PhD in research and social theory and is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
