Dr Andrew Thomas – Director
Andrew Thomas is a Director in the qualitative research team at TNS-BMRB, with previous experience working for NatCen, Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School, St. Mary’s Hospital Medical School and Buckinghamshire County Council. He has a DPhil in Psychology and has practised as a qualitative researcher for over 20 years. His experience is wide ranging and he has provided research services to all the major research-commissioning government departments as well as grant-making trusts, local authorities, medical schools, professional bodies, and charitable organisations. He is particularly interested in the interaction between the family and the state and specialises in employment and personal finance research – particularly pensions, state benefits and tax credits.
