Ben is a director in TNS-BMRB’s qualitative team, and was previously a director at Cragg Ross Dawson, a qualitative research agency which specialises in public-sector work. His research experience is wide-ranging, but he has particular interest and expertise in strategic and behavioural insight research, and issues around community development and social capital. He has led high-profile research projects for clients across government, including major studies to inform policy programmes such as Transforming Justice (MoJ), Community Futures (CLG), the Tobacco Control and Alcohol Harm Reduction programmes (DH), the Licensing Act 2003 (HO), the 2012 Olympic Legacy (DCMS) and the Respect Agenda (DfT).
Ben also has considerable experience of research on advertising, communications and online services for clients such as DH, HO, CLG, DfID and Cancer Research UK, and work on issues around personal finance, business and employment. He has an MA from King’s College, Cambridge, and an MRes in Political and Social Theory from the University of London, and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
